It is an aerobic dehydrogenase that specifically catalyzes the reaction of glucose and oxygen to form gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide, while consuming oxygen, which is broken down to form water. Glucose oxidase has multiple physiological functions in livestock and poultry breeding.

About pH | Enzyme activity definition(business standard): The amount of enzyme required to oxidize 1.0umol of glucose to gluconic acid and H2O2 per minute at pH6.0 at 37℃ is one enzyme activity unit U. Wide pH range:the optimal pH is 6.0, and the maximum enzyme activity can be retained over 50% in the range of pH4.5~pH7.0. PH stability: pH stability shows that the loss of enzyme activity is less than 10% after 1h treatment in the range of pH3.5~pH8.0. |
