Alkaline Protease (Alkaline Protease) is a proteolytic enzyme obtained by submerged fermentation, extraction and purification of Bacillus subtilis selected by protoplast mutagenesis. It is a serine-type endoprotease and can be hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions. The peptide chain of protein molecules generates polypeptides or amino acids, and can also catalyze the synthesis of polypeptides in organic solvents.

Features

Temperature range: The effective temperature range is 20-60°C, and the optimum temperature range is 35-45°C.Alkaline protease is an alkaline protein, the catalytic site is serine, and it has excellent performance at higher temperature and moderate alkalinity.
* pH range: effective pH range 6-11, optimum pH range 9.5-10.5.
* The effect of metal ions on enzyme activity: Ca2+, Mn2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Fe2+ have an activating effect, and are not sensitive to
metal integrating agents EDTA, heavy metals and sulfhydryl reagents, and reagents acting on serine such as sulfonyl halides will make them inactive .
