Kdym-320a direct reading salt density meter is developed for the anti pollution flashover detection of power system. It is a special measuring instrument for measuring the equivalent attached salt density on the insulator surface (hereinafter referred to as "salt density"), and can also measure the conductivity and temperature of solution. The whole machine is widely used in electric power, teaching, scientific research and other related industries because of its high measurement accuracy, intuitive reading, large measurement range and convenient use.
The classification of pollution grade and the drawing of pollution grade distribution map are the basis of anti pollution flashover work. The accurate pollution grade distribution map is the basis for selecting the creepage distance of electric porcelain external insulation of power transmission and transformation equipment. The equivalent attached salt density on insulator surface is the quantitative data to judge the severity of the pollution condition of the external insulation of electric porcelain, and is one of the important basis for dividing the pollution grade and drawing the pollution area map. Therefore, salt density measurement is of great significance to the safe operation of power system.
