RAW MATERIAL BIN
The SUNRISE raw material bin is the first element of the rendering production line for the storage of feathers, meat, fish offal, fatty tissue, pork, sheep, beef, and poultry. It can be installed above the ground and sometimes for customer requests it is possible to make a bin for underground storage. The raw material is transported with a truck and a special design of the bin allows direct unloading of the material to the bin. Each steel hopper is custom-made according to customer requirements. A load cell system for monitoring the weight of the raw material and automatic hydraulic lids can be installed. We offer versions made of stainless steel or carbon steel.
PRE-CRUSHER
SUNRISE pre-breaker is particularly rugged and hardwearing, designed for breaking down complete carcasses as well as all types of offal and bones from meat and poultry slaughterhouses, so they can be used more effectively in rendering processes. Pre-breakers are used for the initial breaking down of input material to particles over 40-50 mm in size. They are ideal as a first stage prior to crushers, enabling you to align these initial steps with overall efficiency requirements for your process, based on particle size. You can select motor size and breaker shaft speed based on the amount of material you need to break down, and the output capacity you require. This helps keep operating costs down.
LAMELLA PUMP
If you need to move liquids containing large particles from one point to another – even over distances of as much as 200 meters –
the SUNRISE Lamella Pump is ideal. These uncomplicated, extremely robust units are widely accepted as the “gold standard” for pumping meat, fish and poultry material.

This type of positive-displacement sliding vane pump is specifically designed to transfer flows that contain large particles, such as pre-broken animal by-products, pet food or fish, with as little as 20% liquid in the flow. It is ideal for filling all types of cookers and other processing equipment in a closed system that ensures good hygiene and limits odor issues.
Batch Cooker
Batch cookers are used for the batch cooking process as described in the processing section. The purpose of the batch cooker in the rendering process is to condition, sterilize, hydrolyze and dry the product. If your company renders white meat (poultry), red meat, feathers, blood or a mixture of by-products the batch cooker is the perfect solution for you.

SCREW PRESS
The fat press separates the liquids from the solid by the application of high mechanical pressure. Initially developed to remove
liquid fat from unpressed crax in batch rendering plants.
After cooking, the raw material is discharged from the Batch Cooker and conveyed by the Drainer Conveyor to the Twin Screw Press. liquid fat from unpressed crax in batch rendering plants.
Free liquids percolate out in the Drainer Conveyor, and in the Press most of the remaining fat and water is removed, leaving a cake with a moisture content of 8–12%. The Press and Drainer liquid, consisting of oil, water and a small percentage of the fine solids, is pumped to the Decanter Feed Tank and the Press cake is continuously conveyed to the Drier.
