Key Components
Each complete closed loop extractor should have following key components
The extraction/collection tank is used for the c ollection of the extracted oil at the end of the p rocess. The tank can be made in single wall or jacketed wall per requirement.
The dewax column is used to crystallize and filter out the lipids and waxes from your conc entrate. The dewax column can be made in single wall or jacketed wall per requirement.
This is a container for you to save the recovere d solvent after the extraction process. Having a recovery tank is essential if you want to conti nue using your butane or propane.
This device can remove the water from the rec overed butane before it’s sent into the solvent recovery tank.
This is for the temperature control of butane. After the cooling coil, butane temperature nee ds to be controlled at the column. Keeping the column at a temperature less than -20C (optim ally -30C to -40C) ensures water and waxes do not contaminate the extract.
The vacuum compressor for the purge is an essential element to purge out the gas from our oil, since it is the power source that will ge nerate the air suction in the vacuum chamber.
You can assemble all above components on a n extraction rack for easy moving and operatio n. This can be added to the machine per client s requirement.
