 The factors which can affect flap disc quality. 

 

1.The sanding cloth materials:
Aluminum oxide, Calcined alumina, Blue calcined alumina, Zirconia, Ceramic.

 

Our flap disc is using Blue calcined alumina. The product appearance looks like zirconia materials, but the price can be lower. But the quality still higher than Alumina oxide/calcined alumina. We can also provide zirconia product.

 

 

2. The leaf number

Our 115mm flap disc is 72 leafs(36 pairs), 180mm flap disc is 120 leafs(60 pairs). Usually most customers chose this leaf number.

 

3. Blade width and blade length
Our 115mm flap disc is 24x18mm, 180mm flap disc is 38x17mm

 

4. Nylon backing

There have blue color and black color in the market, blue color is higher quality.

 

5. The glue

Our product standard rotation speed is 80M/S x 1.73 times(115mm MAX RPM 22610, 180mm MAX RPM 14450). If need MPA standard, we can make it 1.88 times.

 

6. The sanding cloth brand

The main sanding cloth brands in China market is Kingcattle, Sanling and Wangpai, all of them are Chinese brands. Usually the reason to use Wangpai sanding cloth is lower the product cost. There are some customers like Sanling sanding cloth but their product not very stable, sometimes better sometimes lower performance. Our product is using Kingcattle sanding cloth, it is good and stable quality. We can use all of them to produce the product if needed. We can also provide the flap disc which using imported brand sanding cloth, lsuch as VSM, Deerfos, SIA, etc.

 

7. The flap disc shape

Usually the nylon backing flap disc only T27 available.
