Product Description

FVMQ(Fluorosilicone)
Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is like side chains of silicone rubber, bonding trifluoropropyl, methyl and vinyl. The mechanical and physical properties are similar to VMQ. However, FVMQ offers improved fuel and mineral oil resistance, but less hot air resistance than standard VMQ.

Fluorosilicone is the material resulting from the compounding of fluoroelastomer (FKM) and silicone. With great compression set and performance in high and low temperatures, fluorosilicone o-rings are becoming more widely accepted for general purpose use. Nonetheless, fluorosilicone o-rings are most commonly utilized in aerospace applications, especially with high regard to its resistance to jet fuel. Fluorosilicone o-rings have low abrasion resistance and are preferred for use in static environments.

Specification

Fluorosilicone rubber combines the advantages of silicone rubber and fluoro rubber:

1.Wide temperature range (long-term - 65 ℃- 200 ℃), up to 250 ℃ in short term;
2.Excellent resistance to fuel, engine oil, solvents and chemical media;
3.Lower tensile deformation and better vulcanization recovery ability;
4.It retains the advantages of high tensile retention rate of silicone rubber at high temperature;
5.Good insulation performance;
6.Has good selectional air permeability and meets the requirements of environmental protection;
7.Easy to color.It is suitable for high temperature, low temperature, oil and medium resistant applications.

Note:
1.The curing agent is 2,5 dimethyl-2,5 Di tert butyl hexane peroxide (DBPH), and the dosage is 0.53gDBPH/100g precompound.
2.Press cure: 170 ℃* 10min, post cure: 200 ℃*4H.
Using method:
Mixing: Firstly mixing several times in open mixer, adding vulcanizing agent, keep mixing until the vulcanizing agent fully mixed inside the material; then reduce the roller distance to 0.5mm-1mm and mixing for 8-10 times. Vulcanization: After above mixing, the rubber mixture with vulcanizing agent will be made into rubber sheet or cut into the required shape, and then molded and vulcanized on the molding machine.
Storage :
Store in a dry environment at room temperature for one year.
