The crawler crane is composed of a traveling mechanism, a slewing mechanism, a fuselage and a lifting arm. The traveling mechanism is two chain crawlers; the slewing mechanism is a turntable installed on the chassis, so that the machine body can turn 360°. The lower end of the boom is hinged on the fuselage and rotates with the body. There are two sets of pulley blocks (lifting and luffing pulley blocks) at the top. The wire rope is connected to the winch in the fuselage through the pulley block at the top of the boom. Sections are made and extended. The crawler crane is flexible in operation. It is easy to use, has a large lifting capacity, and can also walk with a load on a flat and solid road. After changing the working device, it can become an excavator or a pile driver. It is a multifunctional machine. However, the crawler crane travels slowly and is destructive to the road surface. When carrying out long-distance transfer, it should be transported on a flatbed trailer or a railway flatbed.
