Process of Parking Guidance System




Architecture of Parking Guidance System
The parking information of the parking lot can be collected in real time by using the Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor installed right above each parking line. When there is parking space available, the indicator light integrated by the ultrasonic parking detector will change into the red from the green. The Zone Controller connecting the detector will collect the information of all connected detectors according to roll poling. Besides, the data will be sent to the Central Controller after compression and encoding according to certain rules. After completing data processing, the Central Controller
will send the parking data to each parking LED signage of the parking lot to display the information of unoccupied parking so that the function of guiding the cars in entering the unoccupied parking space can be realized. Meanwhile, the system will send the data to the computer, then the computer will save the data in database server so that the users can enquire into the real-time parking information, yearly, monthly and daily statistics data of the parking lot.




The unique Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor is used for the integrated ultrasonic parking guidance system to detect the parking information. Compared to the ordinary ultrasonic probe, it integrates the ultrasonic sensor and indicator light. It is installed right above the parking line to collect parking information in real time and control the indicator light to represent parking state and upload the parking information to the Central Controller.

Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor and LED Indicator
Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor, an important integral part of parking guidance system, is installed right above each parking space. It integrates ultrasonic sensor and indicator light. The working principle of ultrasonic ranging is used to collect the unoccupied and occupied state information of parking space in real time, control the indicator light of the parking to display different parking states and immediately sends the parking state information to the Zone Controller through RS485 networking.
One Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor is comprised of detector main body and indicator light. The detector main body is the ultrasonic sensor. It is used to detect the unoccupied and occupied state of parking. The integrated indicator light is used to display different colors according to the command of the detector. When there is no car in the parking space, the indicator light is green. However, when there is car in the parking space, it is red.
* Parking detector is integrated with the indicator light. It is installed right above each parking. Compared to the traditional
split-type ultrasonic parking guidance system, its construction is simpler. Thus the construction period is effectively reduced.
Meanwhile, one indicator light, one KBG pipe or cable tray, one single-pass and one piece of twisted pair is saved for each
parking space. Then the material and labor cost is saved for each parking space.
* The Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor is directly installed on the cable tray right above each parking space, thus the shielding of the upright is effectively avoided and the installation effect is more beautiful;
* Two-way independent receiving and sending ultrasonic circuit design is used for the Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor. It effectively covers the detection zone. Meanwhile, it works independently with two-way switching and redundant backup. Thus the service life, stability and reliability of the detector is enhanced greatly;
* Various combined judgment modes are used for the receiving circuit to enhance the anti-interference and detection stability of the equipment;
* With advanced intelligent study-type anti-interference algorithm, the problems of ultrasonic about adjacent-channel crosstalk
and non-interference of the neighboring car during detection are effectively solved. Thus, the stability and reliability of
parking state detection is guaranteed.
* Through strict tests of static, lightning stroke & surge and group pulse, the reliable use of fluorescent lamp and large-scale
electromechanical device under the influence of harsh environmental factors such as lightning stroke in parking lot is effectively guaranteed;
* All devices are designed with the short circuit, transposition and misconnection protection to prevent the electrical damage to the related devices caused by the circumstances of short circuit, transposition and misconnection due to the wrong wiring during construction;

Ultrasonic Sensor Installation
The Integrated Ultrasonic Sensor is installed right above the parking line. It is 0-0.5m away from the parking line horizontally. Its installation height is 2-3m. advised 2.2-2.8m.
Notes: the installation height of the detector = installation height of the cable tray -height of the detector. The length of parking is 5m. It is necessary to slightly adjust the horizontal installation location of other spaces. For details, please refer to the construction manual.


Zone Controller
The Zone Controller is used for cyclically detecting the state of the connected detector and uploading the related information to the Node Controller. It’s advised to connect at most 50 parking terminals with every Zone Controller.
It is used to connect the Node Controller, parking detector and LED signage screen. With RS485 and CAN bus mixed communication mechanism, the problem about reliable long-distance communication and network node expansion and grouping management are solved.
