The electrode cap is the last component of a resistance welding system and is therefore subject to the highest stress in the welding process. Our electrode cap tips are manufactured using advanced cold-forming techniques to produce high quality, affordably priced, male and female caps. Cap production are conducted according to various standards, our own developments and customer requirements.
An extensive range of styles and materials are available.
RWMA Class 2 (CuCrZr; Chrome-Zirconium-Copper): hard, high in electric and thermal conductivity; the most economical cap and universal cap.
RWMA Class 20 (AL2O3Cu; GlidCop dispersion strengthened copper), longer weld life and works well on all steels.
Standard diameters of 1/2", 5/8" 3/4", 13mm, 16mm and 20mm.
Standard nose styles: D, R, P, E, and F.
Non-standard styles and specifications (quoted upon request) are available.
