Higlue L55 Thread sealing cord is a new, faster, more versatile pipe sealant which out-dates traditional tapes and hemp/paste combinations. It instantly seals (irrespective of ambient temperature) domestic and industrial pipe systems during assembly. Can be safely and confidently used with drinking or waste water (hot or cold), gas, compressed air, and industrial oils. Supplied in a handy, pocket sized, protective container complete with built in cutter. WRC listed for use with potable water.

L55 is designed for sealing of metal and plastic pipes and fittings. It needs no cure time and results in an immediate, full
pressure seal. The ideal choice for a quick, easy and reliable seal. The product has approval for gas and potable water and is
certified to NSF/ANSI, Standard 61.

How to use:
1)Roughen the thread with saw-blade or file.
2)Wind onto one of the first pitches of the thread following the thread direction.
3)Cut the HiGlue 55 sealing cord with the incorporated cutting device and press the loose end onto the thread.
4)Screw on and fasten the joint with a pipe wrench. Reposition if necessary.
