Working principle
When the LWD series centrifuge is running, the power is first switched on, and the main machine starts and speeds up automatically. When it reaches the predetermined value, the feed valve opens, and the material enters into the settling section of the centrifuge through the feed pipe and the distributing cone located in the middle of the screw body to carry out the
pre-dewatering of the slurry with low solids content to achieve the effect of thickening and to effectively ensure the clarification of the settling section. The majority of the liquid is discharged by means of an adjustable overflow device on the back side of the centrifuge, separating the clarified liquid. The solids are pre-thickened and conveyed to the centrifuge screen for further dewatering, and flushing can be arranged if necessary. Depending on the production requirements, the two streams can be discharged separately or combined into one stream and discharged through a single or double cyclone.
