Feiya tricone bits are used for geological prospecting, oil and gas development, water well drilling, blast holes, seismicexploration, and construction. There are 11 common types:
Steel Teeth Series (IADC Codes): 116, 117, 126, 127, 136, 137, 216, 217,
317, 337. TCI Series (IADC Codes): 417, 437, 447, 517, 527, 537, 547, 617, 627, 637, 647, 737, 837.
Sizes range from 3 7/8" to 26", covering almost all IADC codes with reliable quality and reasonable prices.
437 Soft Formation TCI Tricone Bits:
* Ideal for drilling low compressive strength, very soft formations.
* Maximizes the use of large-diameter, high-projection conical and chisel tungsten carbide inserts.
* Deep intermesh of cutter rows prevents bit bailing in sticky formations, ensuring high penetration rates.
517 Medium Formation TCI Tricone Bits:
* Features aggressive chisel tungsten carbide inserts on the heel and inner rows.
* Provides fast drilling rates and enhanced cutting structure durability in medium-to-medium hard formations.
* HSN rubber O-ring ensures adequate sealing for bearing durability.
637 Hard Formation TCI Tricone Bits:
* Suitable for drilling hard and abrasive formations.
* Outer rows feature wear-resistant tungsten carbide inserts to maintain bit gauge.
* Uses maximum numbers of hemispherical inserts for cutter durability and extended life.
617 Medium-Hard Formation TCI Tricone Bits:
* Robust chisel tungsten carbide inserts on the heel row and conical inserts on the inner rows.
* Ensures fast drilling rates and added cutting structure durability in medium to medium-hard formations.
* HSN rubber O-ring provides adequate sealing for bearing durability.
