Material Introduction
Fluorocarbon (FKM)
FKM has excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels,aromatics and many organic solvents and chemicals.
Low temperature resistance is normally not favorable. Gas permeability is very low and similar to that of butyl rubber.

• Up to 204℃ (400℉) and higher temperatures with shorter life expectancy.

Acrylonitrile-Butadiene (NBR)
Nitrile rubber is currently one of the most commonly used rubber materials in O-rings. It is has good mechanical properties, resistance to mineral based lubrication and grease.
As the ACN content continues to increase, the oil resistance of nitrile rubber increases, but at the same time, the low temperature resistance also decreases simultaneously.

Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPM, EPDM)
Ethylenepropylene-diene rubber (EPDM) is produced using a third monomer and is particularly useful when sealing phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids and in brake systems that use fluids having a glycol base.
EPDM has excellent acid and alkali solvent resistance, weather resistance, water vapor resistance, aging resistance, and low temperature resistance. But the oil resistance is very poor.
Heat resistance
• Up to 150℃ (302℉) (max. 204℃ (400℉)) in water and/ or steam).

• Down to approximately -57℃ (-70℉).

1. Rubber Silicone O-Ring is a loop of elastomer with a round cross-section.
2. Rubber Silicone O-Ring is designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more
parts, creating a seal at the interface.
3. Rubber Silicone O-Ring can be used both in static applications and in dynamic applications.Such as rotating pump shaftsand hydraulic cylinder pistons.
4. Rubber Silicone O-Ring is inexpensive, easy to make, reliable and simple mounting requirements, O ring is most common seals in machine design.

FFKM (Perfluoroether)
1. FFKM 8480P, It offers the widest range of aggressive media sealing capabilities along with excellent compression set values. It can be used in place of Kalrez® 6375 when temperature are bellow 230°C.
2. FFKM 8580P. It can offer a very broad chemical resistance in a wide variety of media including acids, caustics, ketones, aldehydes, esters, ethers, methanol, solvents, sour gases, hydrocarbons, steam, hot water and mixed process streams along with excellent thermal resistance.
3. FFKM 1075. It can offer outstanding thermal resistance, lower compression set and enhanced sealing force retention at extreme temperatures. Along with excellent thermal resistance, it can offer broad chemical resistance. However, it is not recommended for use in severe aqueous and amine applications. It can be used in place of Kalrez® 4079.
4. FFKM 2175. It has the highest service temperature of FFKM.
