Carbon Structural Steel, it is a kind of carbon steel. The carbon content is about 0.05%~0.70%,some may be as high as 0.90%. It can be divided into ordinary carbon structural steel and high quality carbon structural steel. Mainly used for railway, bridge, all kinds of construction engineering, the manufacture of various metal components bearing static load and mechanical parts and general welding parts which are not important and do not need heat treatment.

RESISTANT TO WEAR AND CRACK
The wear-resistant layer is mainly composed of chromium alloy, and other alloy components such as manganese, molybdenum, niobium
and nickel are also added. Alloy carbide has strong stability at high temperature, maintains high hardness, and has good oxidation resistance. It can be used normally under 500 ℃
The elongation is required to be15%~20% and the impact tough-ness at room temperature is morethan 600 kj/m~800 kj/m.Forlarge welded members,high fracture toughness is also required.
The surface carburized laver hardness is high, to ensure excellent wear resistance and contact fati-gue resis tance,and has the appro-priate plasticity and toughness.
Carbon steel is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218% to 2.11%. Also called carbon steel. Generally, it also contains a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus. Generally, the higher the carbon content of carbon steel,the greater the hardness and the higher the strength.
