TALAMONTI - L’OLIO - EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (5 Lt)
As testified by archaeological remains found in the historic hilltop town of Loreto Aprutino, Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been produced locally for thousands of years. At 300 meters above sea level the native Dritta and Leccino varieties and the unique microclimate influenced by the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso produce the finest extra-virgin olive oil in one of the most Biodiverse regions of Europe surrounded by National Parks. The Olives are hand-picked in October. The Olives are cold-pressed on the same day, using the traditional millstone method. Bottling is preceded by filtration. Brilliant golden-green color. The intensely herbaceous bouquet is further highlighted by an elegant roundness, hinting of artichoke with richness in texture and notable persistence. Best enjoyed on salads, vegetables, soups and pastas, or flavor with garlic and use in the place of butter on warm bread.

Established in 2001, the Talamonti Family Estates includes iconic sustainably produced wines from 75 hectares of estate vineyards and olive groves in the village of Loreto Aprutino (Abruzzo) in Central Italy under Talamonti (www.tenutatalamonti.it), Ilauri (www.i-lauri.it) and Colle Corviano estates (www.collecorviano.it). Our wines are available in over 50 countries around the world.

OUR SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE
We began the path to sustainable farming and winemaking long ago. From our start in 2001, we've held the belief that growing the highest quality grapes and crafting the best wines possible can be only achieved through taking care of the land and our people.

Our commitment to environmental stewardship, equitable treatment of our employees and supporting our local community is part of our DNA and certified by third party certifications. All our vineyards are certified SNQPI, the Italian National Certification program. Since 2015, our family has chosen to source energy exclusively from wind turbine farms and our own solar pannels for 100% generation of the power needed to run the winery and bottling operations.

We are proud to support many local organizations and programs for our community.

CERTIFICATIONS
All wines are also Agroqualità Vegan certified and hold IFS and BRC Food Safety Certification. British Retail Consortium is arguably the most rigorous, internationally accepted standard for food safety. We were first certified in December 2018 earning the highest grade of ‘A’. Since then, with each annual audit, we have continued to achieve grade ‘A’ ratings and exceed the BRC’s rigorous standards.

We have commited to developing a comprehensive inclusion and diversity plan to foster an environment in which every employee is contributing fully and able to win for themselves, Talamonti and our customers. Talamonti has started to work for its third party certification in regards and by the end of 2021 is forecast to obtain the GEEIS international certification for Diversity.

PRIVATE LABELS
In addition, we are an established supplier of successful Private Labels to key customers around the world with strong international accolades from the world's leading international industry media such as Parker, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast and Decanter.
