Polyfloral honey has valuable nutritional and medicinal properties, as it is collected from various species of field plants (thistle, coriander, white clover, dandelion, alfalfa, lavender) and mountain flowering plants (thyme, lemon balm, tutsan (St. John’s wort), paliurus , wild mint, etc.).

Therefore, its composition includes various of nutrients substances from plants, this honey is defined as a general strengthening, with multifaceted positive impact on the body. Herbal honey is obtained in summer when most herbs flourish in Bulgaria. Polyfloral honey / honey bouquet / means honey which is produced by bees from processing of the nectar from different plants. This is a nectar honey collected from many and different types of flowering plants. Unlike Polyphlore honey, Monophlore honeys are derived from the processing of nectar by bees from mostly one plant species. Is honey Monofloral or Polyfloral can be determined by laboratory analysis / pollen analysis /, by defining the percent of pollen grains in honey.
