Description

Bacillus firmus is a species of bacteria within the genus Bacillus. Some strains of this species are very alkaline-tolerant and may grow in environments with pH as high as 11

 

Bacillus Firmus is based on an effective strain .Pre-planting application of Bacillus Firmus at 1-2 Kg / Lt per Acre significantly reduces the nematode populations and the root infestation (galling index),thus resulting in an overall increase in yield.

 

Mode of Action: 

Bacillus Firmus  application  at 1-2 Kg / Lt per Acre (method as stated above) after soil fumigation or soil solarization provides enhanced nematode control, when compared to each treatment alone. . The combination of  Bacillus Firmus with soil solarization significantly reduces the nematode damage to crops. 

Preplant application of 1-2 Lt of  Bacillus Firmus  per Acre is suitable for drip irrigation delivery, provides an efficient control of nematode population and reduces root damages crops. A mid season, single application of  Bacillus Firmus at 1-2 Lt per Acre , significantly reduces the nematode damage on the root system of a tomato crop.
