Description of alluvial gold process:

 

For alluvial gold ore, we do not need to crush and grind the ore. The general processing flow is usually: 

 

1st. Screening and washing (trommel screen). We always use the trommel screen to wash the raw ore and remove the barren rocks and gravels.

2nd. Enriching (Gravity separation equipment). The gravity separation equipment such as the centrifugal concentrator, spiral chute, jig machine, are always applied at this process to enrich the heavy minerals.

3rd. Roughing, scavenging, and cleaning. We usually apply the shaking table for concentration after the 2nd step.

4th. Refinery. We could use the gold melting furnace to smelt the gold sand into shape lastly.

 I. Brief introduction about rock gold processing plant/gold production line:

 

Generally speaking, the rock gold processing plant composes of many types of equipment, such as jaw crusher, impact crusher/cone crusher, vibrating feeder, belt conveyor, ball mill, spiral classifier, vibrating screen, spiral separator, centrifugal concentrator, shaking table, flotation machine, mixer, gold smeltng furnace, rotary kiln,and so on. As to how many equipments needed for each model, it's mainly depended on your actual situation and your expectation about the final product, such as the size of the stone, the grade of the coarse ore and your expectation on the final product, etc.

III. Procedures of rock gold processing plant/gold production line:

 

1. Flotation process for rock gold processing plant

 

1) Crushing and grinding stage

The raw ore need to be primarily crushed by jaw crusher, and then further crushed by fine crusher. After getting the reasonable fineness, it is delivered into the ball mill by belt conveyor and feeder, then be grinded by ball mill.

 

2) Classifying stage

The spiral classifier and ball mill usually work in a close circle. The grinded ore will be delivered into spiral classifier. When the spiral classifier is working, the relatively bigger sizes will be sent back to ball mill for regrinding; while the relatively finer sizes will be overflowed to the next stage for separation.

 

3) Mixing and flotation stage

The classified ore gets into mixing tank for fully mixing. At this stage, chemical agent for foam can be added. After fully mixing, the slurry will enter into flotation machine.

When the floatation machine works, the motor drives the impeller to revolve, so the centrifugal effect and negative pressure are produced. On one hand, ample air is absorbed and mixed with mineral slurry, on the other hand, the mixed mineral slurry is mingled with additive, meanwhile, the foams are thinning, the mineral is bounded with foams, and floats up to the surface of mineral slurry and the mineralized foam is formed. The liquid surface can be adjusted with the height of adjustment flashboard, so that the useful foams are scraped with squeegee.

 

4) Concentrator thickening and drying

After the flotation process, we could use the shaking table to elaborately select the concentrates. Then use the gold smelting furnace to smelt the gold concentrates into gold bullion.

Of course, you could also directly use the thickener to dewater the wet gold concentrates, and then use dryer to dry it.

 

2. Gravity separation process for rock gold processing plant

The former 2 stages of the gravity separation process are the same as that of flotation process.

 

3) Gravity separation stage

In this stage, firstly use gold centrifugal concentrator or spiral separator to recover most of the useful minerals in the gold ore. Secondly, use the shaking tables for primary concentration. Thirdly, also use shaking tables for cleaning.

 

4) Smelting stage

After getting the concentrates, use gold smelting furnace to smelt it and get the gold bullion.
