Introduction 

Cyclone desander is to separate the solid particles in the flowing liquid while swirling in the desander on the principle of screening and separation,which integrates the function of cyclone and filtering and show good effect in desanding,turbidity reduction and solid-liquid separating.it is widely used in water source hot pump,water treatment,foodstuff,Pharmaceutical and other industry.also it is used in river water,desanding for well water,coal washing water,mining water,liquid-solid separating,air exhasuting and non-dissolved liquid separating.

 

 

Working principle

 

Cyclone desander makes use of centrifugal separating to remove sand,as the water inlet pipe is installed at the eccentric of the housing ,when the water flows into the cyclone desander through water inlet pipe,first it flow through the tangent line around the housing to form a flowing obliquely downward.the flowing water will revolve and flow downwards,when the flowing liquid reach the circular cone it will swirl around the axis ,then it flows out of the desander,the imputies and pollutant will fall off from the inside surface onto the sand buket under the action of inertial centrifugal force and its own gravity,there is a structure at the bottom of circular cone to prevent the pollutant to be ascending,when the impurties accumulated in the buket reach the max capacity,just needs to open the manaul butterfly valve,the impurities will flow out of the cyclone desander under the action of flowing water. 

 

 

 

Cyclone desander is designed on the principle of centrifugal subsidence and density difference, when the flowing water flows into the desander through the water inlet under certain pressure,it will generate strong swirling movement,as the density difference between sand and water, under the integrated action of centrifugal force,centrapetal force,buoyant and drag force,the lower density water will go up and flow out from water outlet,the higher density sand particles will be discharged out from drain outlet,which realize the function of desanding.
