Introduction for AV4  leather skiving machine: 

 

The AV4 machine is equipped with a patent pneumatic device, which makes itpossible to effect three pre-estabilished skives of different thicknesses and angles by means of a simple treadle drive. The adjustment for the pre-selection of these skives are very simple and controllable by graduated sectors.
The working area is free, thus enabling troublefree skiving and easy working in narrow and tortuous points, particularly in the vamp with cut for the sewing of the two parts. The efficient suction system, which removes scraps and dust, eliminates spoils and is advantageous to the operator.

 

With traditional machines, the upper were laid and taken up again for each different skive with change of presserfoot and adjustment. With the result of our AV4 skiving machine, we found on the average, a great saving of production time, therefore, it is clear that the machine cost is rapidly recovered, as the object must be more production for less cost. Besides an increase of production, many other advantages with the AV4 skiving machine: improvement of precision, elimination of skiving scraps and employment of unspecialised labour.
