Glow in dark phosphor powder is a special crystal structure of light-emitting material, it has a strong absorbance - STORING - light-emitting ability, by the natural light and the light irradiation, some of the light energy that is absorbed and stored in the dark form of visible lightslowly release. The luminescent material after 5 minutes after the illumination in the dark can be automatically emitting more than 12 hours. Suction light and light-emitting process can be repeated many times, luminescence lifetime of 20 years. It during the daylight they will absorb light from the sun and during the night it will emit it for more than 10 hours. 

Glow in Dark Powder Application :

1.Brightness testing Situation: D65 standard light source, illumination 1000LX,excitation 10min.

2.The brightness is usually better when the granularity of photoluminescence powder is bigger. We suggest that you should choose light material with right granularity according to your manufacture technics. For example:  Particle size: A---45~65um  is suitable for outdoor painting and outdoor advertising ,roller coating the road surface with good light effect.  Particle size:  B--30~45um or C---10~30um  is suitable for painting, roller coating, silk-screen printing and injection molding.

3.The light material is dense, please mix uniformly when use.
4. It should be stored in ventilated and dry environment. The opened material should be sealed.
5. Metal material affects the performance of light, please avoid to touch the metal material.

Q2 - How long your pigment can glow?

A2 - Depends on what we define "glow". Under norm DIN67510 part 1, the brightness that is higher than 0.32mcd/m² (which is 100times of threhold of human eyes' sensibility to light) is defined as "glow".

Under norm DIN67510, the pigments glow more than 20hours, some items even glow for weeks.

Q3 - How bright of your pigment?

A3 - The glow brightness of pigments is different from each other. Generally speaking, the larger pigment particle size, the brighter; Color-dyed glow pigments will lose some brightness, the darker, the lower of brightness.

       Taking TPY-6C as exmaple, in a closed dark room, use a D5 x H8cm glass tube to containing the pigment. At 10cm distance, by the pigment's light, 12# Times New Roman characters is readable for about 2hours; At a 3meters distance, the pigment is visible for 12+hours.
