LWD Three phase decanter centrifuges come with horizontal design, continuous feeding and continuous scroll discharging. This tricanter is mainly applicable for solid-liquid-liquid simultaneous separation where one solid phase has the largest weight and two immiscible liquids varied in different densities.

 

Working principle ----------------------------Royal pharm

 

The 3-phase decanter discharges the heavy liquid (water) via an adjustable impeller under pressure and the light liquid(oil) by gravity. The adjustable impeller allows adjusting the separation zone inside the bowl and so the separation efficiency of the machine during operation, this optimizes purity of the liquids, the bowl is driven by an electric motor via drive belts. The bowl speed can be adjustable by a frequency converter. the scroll is driven further by the secondary drive and the differential speed will be controlled via frequency inverter.
