Overview

       Fog consists of very small water droplets.  Light emitted by light source is scattered by the droplets and detected by a highly sensitive detector. The more droplets there are in a specific volume, the higher the fog density and the higher the measured light intensity. This measured scattered light intensity is then converted to visibility data.

      Visibility is an essential dimension for the safe control of traffic on roads. Automatic systems reliably monitor visibility around the clock. With the new Mini visibility sensor HY-SLV2, which has been especially designed for traffic control systems.
