Telescopic covers are generall produced from cold-rolled uncoated thin plates in thicknesses form 1 to 3 mm. In case of extremely aggressive environmental conditions ( e.g. aggressive cooling lubricants), corrosion-resistant stainless steel plates may also be used.

Accelerations and speeds of machines are constantly increasing. Telescopic covers must also be able to cope with these challenges. This is where telescopic covers with harness mechanisms are used.

 

Standard Products

• Special anti-friction brass guides or wipers with polyurethane rubber are inserted on te sides of the Telescopic Steel Covers, at the discretion of the engineer based on speed, seal and dimensions.


• For heavy covers:1) over 110kgs for horizontal covers 2)over 70kgs for front or vertical covers. Special supports are included ofr easy, secure lifting.


• The steel used is extremely high quality in terms of flatness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Thickness ranges form 1.5 to 3 mm. Telescopic Steel Covers may also be made of stainless steel.


• For hight speeds or weights, special bearings are inserted ofr smooth, silent movement. Telescopic Steel Covers with bearings require tempered or auxiliary guides.
