▶The machined KF wingnut clamps and cast KF C clamps are used (in conjunction with a stainless steel KF centering ring with fitted o-ring) for mating KF flanges.
▶The KF flange is used for through- or foreline vacuum plumbing and for simple HV chamber ports.
▶Common sizes of KF Cast Clamps are KF10, KF16, KF25, KF40, KF50.
* Easy Assembly and Quick Disassembly manually without tools --- KF or NW assembly comprises two KF flanges, a KF center ring, an O-ring and an aluminum KF clamp or stainless steel KF clamp with a wingnut fastener for quick and fast connection.
* Uniform Pressure to Effect Vacuum Seal Connection --- 15° taper surface of KF/NW flange allows uniform pressure to compress an O-ring, which is held in place by metal KF center ring, by the clamp to generate a vacuum seal.
