Dicyandiamide is white crystal powder with density: 1.40g/m³(25℃), melting point: 207~212℃,stable and nonflammable in dry condition. It is soluble in water,ethanol or sparingly soluble in ether and benzene. It is a material to produce melamine , multi-resin , melamine and fire proofing agent ,  for metal surface , color fixing agent for dyeing , padding for artificial leather and additive in adhesive, used as a fertilizer, cellulose nitrate stablizer, rubber vulcanlzation accelerator, also used in the manufacture of plastic, synthetic resin, synethetic paint, cyanide compounds, or to make meianin, such as explosive materials. Used for test cobalt, nickel, copper and palladium,organic synethesis, nitrocellulose stabilizing agent, curing agent, detergent, vulcanization accelerator, resin synthesis,etc .
