Tips for Installation

Here is the most important parts for installation of composite decking.
The maximum joist distance for Heavy duty board is 400mm in centre. If you set more than this, your decking boards may warp, sink or move in the future.

The Minimum Gap for Expansion

Minimum gap 3mm (install above 25 0C) or 6mm (install below 25 0C) must be allowed in length between board ends, If not, your decking boards may warp, lift or crack.

Minimum 3 Supports

Composite decking board must have minimum 3 joist supports, regardless its length. If not, your decking board may warp or sink.
