Description

 

Screw conveyor alleviates labor intensity and improves work efficiency during hauling operation, which has been widely applied. It is applicable in all industries, such as building material, chemical, power, metallurgy, coal, food industry; horizontal, banked or short-haul transport of powder, granule and small lump materials like coal, ashes, slags, cement, grains; and materials with temperature below 200 degrees Celsius. Screw conveyor is not suitable for transport of perishable materials, materials with large viscosity or those that are easy to agglomerate.

(I) The machines are divided into three types based on customers’ requirements on lifting speed.

1: Fast elevating conveyor (Fast loading, unadjustable)

2: Constant speed elevating conveyor (Constant speed loading, unadjustable)

3: Variable frequency elevating conveyor (The loading speed is adjustable if needed.)

Recommendation: It’s not likely to be blocked when the pipe diameter is 219 mm for bulky materials like saw dust and Wood shavings

(III) The machines can be divided roughly into three types based on customers’ requirements on lifting height.

2 meters (Recommended lifting height), 3 meters, 4 meters, 5 meters in length

Recommendation: The lifting height should keep as low as possible when used for heavy materials with large density

(IV) The machines can be divided roughly into three types based on customers’ requirements on material.

1, Carbon steel inside and out

2, Stainless steel for outer pipe, carbon steel for inner screwy fins

3, Stainless steel inside and out
