The raw material used in making the handles of grasper is PPS (polyphenylene sulphide) which is imported from Germany. This is one kind of plastic that resists wear and tear at very high temperatures, because its melting point itself is 235°. So it is 100% autoclavable.

Jaws used in graspers are made in fully automated machines (same way as made by the Germans) using S.S. 316L, which is a medical grade material. This material is used in Orthopaedic implants too, so there are no chances of corrosion.
