4-aminophenol is an organic compound with the chemical formula H2NC6H4OH, also known as p-aminophenol p-hydroxyaniline p-aminophenol is usually a white powdery solid. This compound is slightly hydrophilic, soluble in alcohols, recrystallized in hot water and easily oxidized in alkaline environments.

 

 Application: 

1. Used in Dye and Pharmaceutical industry such as Blue FBG,Paracetamol and Clofibrate.

 2.Used for developer (N-methyl-aminophenol)

3.Used for antioxidants such as 4-hydroxydiphenylamine ,N,N’-diphenyl-1,4-phenylene diamine and N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-naphthylamine.
