Ingredients

Bovis Calculus, Pulvis Bubali Cornus Concentraus, Moschus Artifactus, Margarita, Cinnabaris, Realgar, Coptidis Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix, Gardeniae Fructus, Curcumae Radix, Borneolum Syntheticum.

Actions and Indications

To clear heat, remove toxin, settle fright, and open the orifices. Febrile disease due to pathogenic factors entering the pericardium, manifested as high fever with seizure, loss of consciousness, and delirious speech; apoplectic with coma, encephalitis, meningitis, toxic encephalopathy, cerebral hemorrhage, and septicemia with symptoms described above.

Description

Yellowish-oragne to reddish-brown big honeyed pills; odour, strongly aromatic; taste, slightly bitter.

3 g per pill.

Administration and Dosage

For oral administration. 1 pill per time, once a day; 1/4 pill for children under 3 years old, 1/2 pill for children between 4 and 6, once a day; Or as advised by health professionals.

Precautions

1. Patients with unconsciousness caused by cold-block are not advised to use.

2. Keep a light diet while taking the medicine and avoid pungent and spicy food.

4. This product contains Cinnabaris and Realgar, thus overdose and long-term use are not advised; patients with hepatorenal dysfunction should use with caution.

5. Should cold extremities and intolerance of cold, pale complexion, unstoppable cold sweat or extremely weak pulse occur, indicating the block pattern has transformed into the collapse pattern, withdraw the drug immediately.

6. Patients with difficulties taking the drug, e.g. high fever with unconsciousness, apoplectic with coma, etc. should be fed through nose.

Adverse Reactions
