Waterproof Butyl Tape is a multi-purpose self adhesive sealing band designed for flashing and detailing a variety of surfaces. With outstanding adhesion properties of the butyl rubber backing, Butyl Tape is ideal for sealing internal and external surfaces that require protection against moisture ingress, vibration and flexing.
The Waterproof Butyl Tape provides an instant seal to the surface it is applied to, avoiding down time for drying or curing. Ideally suited for waterproofing, roofing and general building applications the Butyl Waterproofing Tape is designed to be finished over with Gripset adhesives, membranes, coatings, mortars, adhesives and renders.
