Tungsten Electrode WL15 are popular due to the relative ease of striking an arc and lower amperage required. They perform exceptionally well in both AC & DC applications. Tungsten Electrode WL15 became very popular in the circle of welding in the world, soon after it was developed because of its good welding performance. The electric conductivity of tungsten needle WL20 is most closed to that of 2%Thoriated Tungsten Needle. Welders can easily replace Thoriated Tungsten Needle with Lanthanated Tungsten Needle at either AC or DC and do not have to make any welding program changes. The radioactivity form Thoriated Tungsten Needle can thus be avoided.

 

Another advantage of Tungsten Needle WL20 is being able to bear high current and having the lowest burn-loss rate. Tungsten Needle WL20 has the following advantages:
