Product Properties: PVP(Polyvinylpyrrolidone) is white or milky white to light yellow free-flowing powder or clear transparent viscous liquid, which is odorless or has slight characteristic odor. PVP is non-toxic, nonirritant and has moisture absorption. It is easy soluble in many organic solvents like water, alcohol, amine and halohydrocarbon; insoluble in acetone and diethyl ether. PVP has excellent solubility, biocompatibility, film-forming property, chemical stability, physiological inert, cohesiveness, membrane protection ability, complexing ability to many organic and inorganic compounds, good stability to acid, salt and heat and therefore has wide applications in many fields.
