The particles with smaller particle size that have not settled due to the impulse of the water flow enter the inclined pipe area with the rising water flow. The oblique tube area fills the hexagonal thin-walled multi-empty oblique tube at a certain angle and divides the water flow into many sedimentation units. The finer particles entering the oblique tube area reach the oblique tube wall under the condition of laminar hydraulic settlement and accumulate to a certain amount. Sliding down to the sedimentation area under the effect of gravity, according to the design requirements of the separation particle size processing capacity, fine particles that fail to settle in the inclined tube area will be discharged with the overflow, thereby achieving the classification and sedimentation process.
