1.What is hammer union seal ?
Hammer union seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal
provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware.
Hammer unions consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted.
2.Material of Hammer union seals
We supply Hammer Union Seals in 80 Nitrile, 80 Viton, 90 Viton, 80 HNBR. High pressure seals are available in HNBR/Brass, Nitrile/Brass, Viton/Brass, and Viton/Stainless. Also available in Teflon (PTFE)or Customized color and material .

These Hammer union Seals are designed to seal on a Figure 1502 unions with typical pressure ratings for standard service of 15,000 PSI and are tested to 22,500 PSI.
