The appearance of Copper nitrate trihydrate is blue crystal. It's easy moisture absorption. Its specific density 2.05, melting point 114.5℃. It will be decomposed when it's heated to 170℃. It can dissolve in water and ethanol. The aqueous solution is acidity. Copper nitrate trihydrate can be used as mordant, copper catalyst, combustion aid, for copper plating, manufaction copper oxide, pesticides and other copper salts, colorants in enamel industry. Also can be used in the paint industry to make inorganic pigments, analytical reagents and oxidants. Used to configure trace element water soluble fertilizer.
