4. What is the role of fiber laser?
Fiber lasers are only used to cut metals such as stainless steel, carbon/mild steel, galvanized steel, etc. Not metal.

300W: 1.5mm stainless steel, 4mm carbon steel
500W: 3mm stainless steel, 6mm carbon steel
1000W: 5mm stainless steel, 12mm carbon steel
2000W: 10mm stainless steel, 18mm carbon steel
Note: Fiber lasers of 1KW and above can cut aluminum, copper, brass and other highly reflective metal plates.
