Plaster stop bead is a kind of J-shaped angle bead made from galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel sheet. Plaster stop bead provides straight edges for one or two coat veneer plaster finishes to wall openings and wall or ceiling intersections and protect plaster edges from damage. Besides, its wide wings enhances the bonding property of the plaster to prevent it from cracking.
Limitations
Galvanized steel products should not be used with magnesium oxychloride cement stucco or Portland cement stucco containing calcium chloride additives. The selection of the appropriate type of material for accessories shall be determined by the surrounding climatic and environmental conditions such as salt air, industrial pollution and high humidity.
