Product Description
Spiral classifier is a kind of equipment used to classify ores and minerals, which is often applied in ore dressing and grinding process. It classifies the solid particles according to the different size, density and settling speed through the rotation of spiral blades, and separates the coarse particles from the fine particles. The coarse material after grading returns to the mill for regrinding, while the fine material goes to the next step of separation or concentration process.
Working Principle
The working principle of the spiral classifier relies on the different gravity settling speeds of the slurry in the water to
classify the solid particles in the slurry. The slurry enters into the equipment through the upper overflow port, with the
rotation of the spiral blade, the coarse particles settle at the bottom of the trough and are pushed to the discharge end by the spiral blade, and the fine particles are discharged with the water flow through the overflow port to complete the grading process.
