Cell Level
Smaller cylindrical cells have housing material taking up volume. LFP32700 with lower housing material at the cell level itself are required less in number. effectively reducing the volume considerably.
Pack Level and Assemble
The assembly advantage of the 32700 cell when it is compared to the 18650 cylindrical cells comes from the fact that they are considerably low in numbers. Not only is the assembly effort and time savings obvious from just hearing the numbers, but the multiplication of components, wirings, packaging, etc. are also greatly reduced for 32700 cells.
