THT Assembly
Through Hole Technology
Our 5,000 sqm facilities include 4 surface-mount technology (SMT) production lines, 2 through-hole technology (THT) lines, 2 function testing lines, and 2 box-build production lines.
Most of PCBA boards requests SMT & THD mixed technology. Components are placed by inserting legs into holes that are covered with solder. Through-hole assembly is widely used in industry motherboards, power boards, and solar energy projects.
Manual Soldering
Manual soldering is normally used on PCBA boards with special design parts that are not suitable for reflow or wave soldering technology. For example, a PCBA board with 90% components for surface mount assembly and only a few through-hole components, wave soldering these few components costs more compare to manual soldering. For some special design parts like cable, TFT display, and high spring, manual soldering is the easy way to ensure quality and low scarp ratio. STHL PCBA skilled manual soldering workers did a good job on quality and speed.
Components Prepare & DIP line
Material preparation work affects the whole DIP assembly quality and efficiency. STHL Electronics use professional device to reshape components as per requests. PCBA boards key points had analysis and training before assembly for every new project. Workers pick and insert components with ESD wrist straps (Anti Static Wrist Straps), which can prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) by safely grounding a person working with electronic equipment or at an electronic assembly facility. With a DIP assembly fixture, components are protected from overheating during wave soldering.
Inspection & Testing
X-RAY
As a one-stop PCB assembly service factory, we offer complete box-build assembly. If you choose us as your contract assembly vendor. You will be guaranteed quality with our aging testing and functional testing. In STHL PCBA, you can have 8-24 hours of aging testing service and function testing for both hardware and software.
AOI Inspection
STHL Electronics offers functional testing with its turn-key assembly services, which helps you reduce the entire projects period time. After the PCBA AOI & X-ray inspections finish, function testing can avoid assembly issues including PCB open & short circuits, missing components, or incorrect parts. STHL PCBA board quality control not only includes material control and production inspection but also expands to packing and delivery conditions. No matter customers have special requests for packing and delivery or not, we have our standard treatment for packing and delivery. After cleaning and testing of PCBA boards, we packed and safe delivery.
