Wiring Terminal Instructions
The WLED controller can support a total of three output channels. The output terminal connections "G D V" correspond to the "GND DATA VCC" pins of the digital LED strips. Among them, D refers to the default output group for GPIO16, so please prioritize using this group. The other group, D for GPIO2, can only be used after configuration in the APP. IO22 and IO33 is an extended GPIO signal port that can be customized for use.
OTA Update Steps
1.Enter the WLED controller that needs to be updated and click on "Settings".
2.Select "Security & Updates".
3.Find "Software Update", click on "Manual OTA Update" to enter.
4.Click on "Select File" , locate the file that needs to be updated, and then click on the file.
Note: Before upgrading, carefully confirm whether the chip information matches the firmware, for example,ESP32 controller needs to use ESP32 firmware.lncorrect firmware updates can lead to product damage.
Steps for connecting with Alexa
1.Go to the control page of the WLED controller, click on the "Config" button in the top right corner toenter the settings, and then click on "Sync Interfaces".
2.Scroll up to find "Alexa Voice Assistant" , check the box next to "Emulate Alexa device" , and then save.
3.After successfully saving, power cycle the WLED controller once by turning it off and on.
4.Open "Amazon Alexa," click on the "Devices" page at the top right corner on the "+" sign, and then click "Add Device."
5.Then, scroll up and click on "Other" to enter, select "Wi-Fi," and then click "Discover Devices" to search for lights.
