III. Introduction of  RTD Pt100 Sensor 

 

RTD action principle: RTD measures temperature by utilizing the characteristics as follows: When the material has the temperature change ,the resistance itself varies accordingly . When temperature gradient exists in the measured medium, it is the average temperature of the medium within the locating range of temperature-sensing element .

  RTD element is mainly made of Pt or Cu. Filaments are enenly double-wrapped in insulating ceramic skeleton. It is called ceramic element. It has the advantage of fine high-temperature stability . But because of high manual manufacture cost, it always gets weak resistance value.
