Maydos High-Polymer Modified Cement Elastic Waterproof Coating

 

 It high-polymer modified cement elastic waterproofing coating,which is made up by acrylate emulsion, cement powder and inorganic materials, different standards are available according to their different performance.

Where to use

It is ideal for waterproofing applications such as: foundations, basements, underground project, car park decks, non-exposed roof, balconies, patios, inspection pits, water retaining structures (not for potable water), sewage works, etc.

 

How to use

Substrate Treatment

The substrate must be smooth, firm, clean, without obvious water trace, fix the crack, the internal and external corner should be made into round corner.

Clean the old concrete surface with strong detergent, and then further clean with water, wait until it is completely dry before application.

 

 

Add the powder into liquid slowly and use mechanical mixer (350-450 rotations per min) to stir  with right ratio.

Operation points

Multi-layer applied by roller and scraper. The coatings should not too thick or it will dry too long.

Apply the protective layer after the coating is dry (5-7days normal temperature condition).

 

Announcements

Constructing below 5℃ or in the sand are not allow.

If it is wet or ventilation is poor, the coating will dry slowly, otherwise it will dry quickly.

 

Consumption

1.3-1.5kg/m² per 1 mm thickness

 

Cautions

♦ Use it up at one time after opening within 30 minutes. There will be a thin curing layer on the surface if long time storage, remove it before using.

♦Do not walk in the coating layer when it is still fresh. Heavy load and sharp items will damage the waterproof layer. Keep ventilation, wear protective clothing when you are working, no fire on the application site.

♦Apply protective layer after acceptance is successful.

♦Limited application conditions: snow, windy, dusty and cold weather, unsuitable substrate.

 

 

Packaging, transportation and storage

Avoid insolating, raining, and colliding during transportation.

Storage

 It must be stored at cool and ventilated space. Keep away from fire.
