1. Advantages of coreless motor

The hollow cup motor is a dc permanent magnet and servo micromotor. The main difference between the hollow cup motor and ordinary motor is the adoption of an iron core

rotor/stator, also known as the hollow cup rotor/stator.

The hollow cup motor has the following advantages:

• large energy conversion efficiency (a measure of its energy-saving characteristics) : its efficiency is above 70%, and some products can reach above 90% (ordinary core motors are between 15-50%);

• quick activation and braking, and extremely fast response: mechanical time constant is less than 28 milliseconds, and some products can reach less than 10 milliseconds.
