The hydrogen analyzer, which works on the Straube-Preiffer test principle (decompression solidification test method), is used to qualitatively measure the content of hydrogen in molten aluminum. A decompression solidification test is conducted to make a solidification sample of molten aluminum under the conditions of decompression (a vacuum degree determined according to the technological requirements). Subsequently, the sample is analyzed by various methods to qualitatively determine the content of hydrogen in molten aluminum in an indirect way.
