Acrylic Rubber (ACM) is an elastomer which is copolymerized by acrylic as the main monomer. Its main chain is Saturated carbon chain, meanwhile its side chain is ester group. ACM can be divided into four types according to the different crosslinking monomers: Active Chlorine type, Carboxyl type, Epoxy type and Double Crosslinking type. Based on its own special structure, ACM has many excellent characteristics.
1. Excellent thermostability, Continuous using temperature up to 190℃, limiting using temperature up to 200℃. 2. High oil resistance. 3. The performances of resistance to oxidation and ozone are similar to those of fluorosilicone. 4. High UV resistance. 5. The mechanical performance and processability are better than those of fluorosilicone.
